Our clientele increases each week and our facility is growing and expanding. However, we will always be an individual and small group Personal Training Organization and will never be a membership-driven gym.

This pledge allows us to offer greatly reduced rates compared to traditional gyms. We firmly believe that this affordability, along with goal-driven training and our positive attitude, will help us “Accomplish your goals— together.”

 

YOGA

Come Yoga at Cozy Fitness on Saturdays at 9:00 am! We have a new instructor: Lindsay Hunt. Each session is $5.00 per person.

Group Training

Cozy Crunch Boot Camp meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning bright and early at 5am. This is the first of many group sessions we will be offering and we have gotten only positive feedback as the class continues to grow.

This Mission Statement of Cozy Acres Fitness is exactly how we conduct personal training!

Most people, when they think of personal training, get a mental picture of a heavy-weight-lifting male or a Fitness-USA female. "Personal Training" is a concept that can be confusing because of what society shows us in magazines, television shows, and many gym advertisements. Cozy Fitness offers a completely different type of environment:

We specialize in one-on-one and two-to-one training sessions that are specifically designed to meet the individual's goals.

We understand that going to a public gym can be intimidating and distracting. The environment of Cozy Fitness is very comfortable and the attention is entirely on the individual to help meet goals, one session at a time!

Just like our Mission states, we work with people of all ages and at all levels of fitness. Goals can include:

  • Gain strength
  • Increase flexibility
  • Lose unwanted pounds
  • Rekindle motivation to maintain current level of fitness

Cozy Fitness personal trainers also work with golfers to aid with swing flexibility and strength, helping to reach individual's goal of a better all-around golf game.

Lindsay Hunt

Lindsay Hunt

  Yoga Instructor

Lindsay Hunt grew up in Madison, Indiana, where she developed a passion for an active lifestyle. She enjoyed a variety of sports while young, including dance, golf, running, and riding. After graduating, she found herself at Goucher College in Baltimore where she studied business and premedical studies and played collegiate soccer.

During her time at Goucher, she was introduced to Baptiste Power Yoga where she practiced under Sid McNairy at Lifeline Power Yoga. It was love during first practice with power yoga. She loved the full-body workout and the challenge power yoga provided, as well as the incredible peace she felt after practicing.

Power yoga opened doors to finding herself and reconnect with her spirituality and individuality. She loves to read, run, and play with her cat and dog. Lindsay's favorite asana is warrior I. The power and strength that is found in this pose empowers one for the remainder of practice.

As an instructor, she looks to introduce others to their personal path while providing a challenging class where students can find their inner power and reconnect to their inner peace. She wants to help others reach maximum spiritual and physical health in a caring and fun environment.
